The Workshop

Like many other luthiers, I run the shop from my home. The workshop is modest but well supplied with quality tools and supplies. These things don't guarantee a good job, but having good tools and supplies makes an excellent job easier to achieve.

Most of our tools come from esteemed Luthier suppliers StewMac and Solo Guitars, together with quality supplies from local luthier supply companies, RealTone, Australian Luthier Supplies and Southern Tonewoods.  We believe that good tools and parts don't guarantee a great job, but they make it easier to achieve! 

APRIL 2025: Our work was previously published on Instagram, but for various reasons, we have quit that platform.  Please bear with us as we re-publish some of our work on this site.

JUNE 2025 UPDATE: I've been slack...historical content is still a "work in progress" (it's much more fun to work on guitars than blog posts)...
